Tails and Trails is a festival and 10K/5K/1-Mile Pet Walk in Denton, Texas. This year, the event will be held on October 19, 2013 at the North Texas Fairgrounds in Denton, Texas. Tails and Trails is the major annual fundraiser for Denton Animal Shelter Foundation, Inc. (DASF). Funds raised support the Denton municipal animal shelter which handles over 5,000 abandoned and abused pets each year. It is the only annual event that dedicates all proceeds to the shelter.

Tails and Trails started as a 5K and 1M pet walk but in 2012, we added a 10K! The 5K and 10K are timed and all courses are laid out on the streets of Denton. Visit our registration page for more details.
